Fukuoka Women's University was selected for Program to supporting research activities of female researchers of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) in 2013. The Support Office for Female Researchers is aiming at (1) nurturing female leaders in education, research and university management and (2) increasing the number of female researchers (nurturing of next generations) by improving an environment which assists the balance between research and life events and by promoting various initiatives which facilitate the activation of their research activity.
